The World of Wine in London

A truly international event, the London Wine Fair offers over 10,000 wines produced in over 40 countries worldwide.
15,000 wine professionals will journey to London to be immersed in the world of wine, to sample across the continents and take part in the many tastings and masterclasses.

As always, there’s a tremendous amount going on at the 2017 London Wine Fair. Masterclasses, tastings, debates, seminars. Here’s a summary of some of the show features:

The Fair

Some 700 exhibitors take part in the Wine Fair. From many of the world’s leading brand owners, to individual producers collectively displaying over 10,000 wines from over 40 countries, covering every corner of the world.

The LWF Masterclasses

Another fascinating schedule of Wine Fair masterclasses is currently being prepared.  World-class producers, experts and critics will lead you through tasting a series of tasting sessions that you simply won’t find anywhere else.

esoterica returns to Olympia’s gallery level once more, where around 70 small scale and specialist importers displaying 14 wines each in a table-top environment. If you’re looking for a boutique UK importer with a fabulous selection of wines, look no further. Perfect for visiting independent retailers and sommeliers.

Wines Unearthed

Introduced in 2015, Wines Unearthed is an area dedicated to over 100 wine producers looking for UK representation. Participating wineries have no UK importer and should be export ready.

The LWF Industry Briefings

The place for topical debate, presentations, research and future thinking.  A perennial favorite feature of the Fair, speakers will analyse the past, argue the present and predict the future.  Expect big names and big subjects.

Wine Merchant Top 100

The Wine Merchant Top 100 is a competition with a difference. All of the wines that enter are independent exclusives, and the judges are all independent wine merchants. The winning wines are available to taste.

The LWF Pop-Up Tastings

New in 2016, this is a 80 seat tasting area, dedicated to education and experiencing wines from up and coming regions, new appellations and specialists in wine faults.
